Lemon, lime, slight minerality & a hint of grapefruit on the nose. Bright & lively acid with abounding citrus on the palate. — 10 years ago
I've tasted this vineyard before from Marimar Estate and have felt significant differences in style, Marimar feels like it has more body, mature red fruits and sweet spices with a wonderful long finish. Alma Fria style which is also fantastic, expresses more like a mix of Fresh and Hints of mature red fruits mixed also with sweet spices and a wonderful long balanced mineral finish. I would like to retaste both Wines again later this year. — 11 years ago
Dark ruby coloration. On the nose, cherry, coffee beans, earth and citrus peel. On the palate, cherry, strawberry, a lot of earthiness, coffee, anise, dark chocolate with a long finish. Tannins are still strong. — 5 years ago
Light golden in color with greenish highlights. Green apple, lemon, white peach, honeysuckle, and modest new oak on the nose. This is a balanced, mid-weight Chardonnay with plenty of freshness, acidity, and minerality on the palate. — 8 years ago
Nice and crisp. — 10 years ago
This wine is luxurious and sumptuous. So smooth and wonderful dark cherry notes with the right amount of spice. — 11 years ago

Reserve, but only a touch more complex than la masia — 7 years ago
Very crisp, apples in the nose, not oaky, not buttery. Does not taste like a California Chardonnay. Delicious and light — 9 years ago
Surprisingly fantastic bottle of Pinot in an unassuming package! — 10 years ago
Barnyard, cherries, pie crust, red currant with layers upon layers on the lifted nose. You could just sit and smell this wine and be satisfied. Smokey cedar with juicy red fruits on the palate. Rich and smooth with balance and finesse. Excellent Pinot! — 11 years ago

Delightful, highly aromatic. Bouquet hits you with peaches and fresh flowers. Notes of peaches, melon, and some minerality like wet gravel. $17 at our local Costco. — 4 years ago
