I've tasted this vineyard before from Marimar Estate and have felt significant differences in style, Marimar feels like it has more body, mature red fruits and sweet spices with a wonderful long finish. Alma Fria style which is also fantastic, expresses more like a mix of Fresh and Hints of mature red fruits mixed also with sweet spices and a wonderful long balanced mineral finish. Dark ruby coloration. On the nose, cherry, coffee beans, earth and citrus peel. On the palate, cherry, strawberry, a lot of earthiness, coffee, anise, dark chocolate with a long finish. Tannins are still strong. — 5 years ago
