There is no need to have anything sweet after dinner, this blend temps the palate to a fancy texture; creme brûlée anyone? It reminded me also of a cozy breakfast with crepes and sweet cream or Belgian waffles with warm maple syrup, a breakfast delight. — 11 years ago

Blackberry maple syrup? Delicious! — 12 years ago
Moth balls, pine needles, clove, anise on the nose. Really unexpected depth of flavor. Starts with black pepper, black berry, evolving into currant, fig, mascarated black cherries, maple sugar. Bright acidity to start that tapers off to sweet sugar floss. — 11 years ago

A pungent nose, more sherry like with saline notes that add to the caramel, flowers and orange zest, some notes of maple , full bodied, huge finish. — 12 years ago
A nose of cassis, raisins, bitter cocoa and a touch of caramel. The taste is a syrupy and decadent assault of caramel, maple syrup and oak. Still a hot finish, but with the lower age it has more body to stand up to it. — 11 years ago
