Turtle rock G2 Syrah, Saxum assistant wine maker. Unbelievably rich Syrah with a finish that lasts a minute — 7 years ago
The former Screaming Eagle Wine maker doesn't disappoint. Meaty and smooth! — 8 years ago
The 2007 vintage. Quite a rich full bodied Syrah made by ex Grange maker, John Duval. Has Northern Rhone meaty peppery notes but also lush fruit. Very satisfying. 18. — 9 years ago
Velvety and dark, the gingerbread flavor sneaks up on you but doesn't linger. Crisp finish, especially in the back of your throat. — 9 years ago
By the same maker as Mark West Pinot Noir - I think I like this one better for a glass w/out food! A bit lighter in body, but same great taste. Try it!! — 10 years ago
Year is 2000. Couldn't get it on because of how the label is printed. Bought this in Northern Italy a few years back. Private tour of the winery with the maker himself! — 11 years ago
My go to cab. — 7 years ago
Amazing wine for one as young as this, it tastes like a wine 10 yrs older.
95 merlot, 4% cab and 1% petit Verdot.
Intense color and concentrated flavors, this red is pretty stellar. The wine maker suggests this wine can be aged for 20 years. — 8 years ago
I like this almost as much as the Count's* Terry Thomas moustache. A cassis-fest of sweet fruit with good structure, over-delivering for a weak vintage.
* wine maker - Google him. 😉 — 8 years ago
2012 vintage. Excellent wine at a good price from renowned wine maker — 8 years ago
2011 vintage. — 9 years ago
I love their wines probably more than what they are purely on the fact the maker Jules and her husband are awesome people and put love into every bottle. — 9 years ago
First try of the 2013. Patty Green proves again she's probably the best Pinot wine maker in the Willamette Valley. Fantastic. I've yet to try a better Pinot for the money in Oregon. Wonderful. Love this wine. — 9 years ago
Met the winemaker in Provence, she pretty much put the region on the map. Lovely wine. — 10 years ago
Citrus lemon, lime, orange peel, nice body, makes you smile Spatlese! Drank with the wine maker Max. — 11 years ago
One of my favorites, Justin Isosceles put Paso on the map! — 7 years ago
1998 vintage. At Cheval Blanc for dinner with Olivier, the wine maker. Medium ruby hue. Dark fruit, dark chocolate, black currant. On the palate, medium acidity, medium minus body, medium plus concentration and medium alcohol. Good finish. Slightly bitter on the end of the palate. Drink now until 2032. Prefer to the 2000 which appears to have aged quicker than this vintage. — 7 years ago
The 1990 vintage. This was Wine Spectators wine of the year and featured on their front cover and very much put Grange on the map in the USA. Strangely I don't believe it has developed as well as expected from its early years. Examples I have had in the past few years were still too oaky IMO. This was more balanced without the expected power from the vintage. — 8 years ago
Tangerine queen. Strawberries, peaches, lilies, lavender, watermelon, tangerine. Great with the smoked pork tacos I had tonight. — 8 years ago
Blend of five varietals, we spent a couple hours with the wine maker, magnificent! — 10 years ago
I know the maker so I'm biased. — 11 years ago
