Confession: I drank a lot of this. — 9 years ago
Initial bread with butter scent followed my nice notes of cedar and raspberry. Very nice. — 10 years ago
Out with Adrianne Haslet Davis and Katie Jenkins. We wanted a lighter red for the warm weather and this was perfect. Light berries. A tinge of tobacco. Etc etc. — 10 years ago
Bright fruit but it's feet are firmly planted in the old world. Nice grip, and a little on the young side. — 10 years ago
Fruity: Pears and apples. Smooth, not too acidic, light. Better than expected! Would buy again. — 10 years ago

Like drinking dark meaty berries with sneaky alcohol on the finish. Very light spice. Should show much nicer in 5+ years. — 9 years ago
This would be great for Thanksgiving — 10 years ago
2005 - great earthy nose right from the get go. balanced acidity even from the start, which mellows to give way to a pleasant palette of red fruit (but not jammy) burgundy-ness. after opening up over a period of about 2 hours, wine seems to stay tightening up after 3 hours again. Didn't decant. Drank late 2015. — 10 years ago

Each bottle seems a bit different. Some are all peaches, some suffering reduction and tightness. But overall a delicious sip. — 9 years ago

Perfect for those who prefer sweet cider but need one for a savory dinner. — 10 years ago
Very herbaceous and showing signs of oxidation. Rose petals, raspberries, blackberries, strawberry jam, Fig Newton, pine resin, cedar, spices reminiscent of aromatized wine. Game meat, Vanilla characteristic similar to a high end sweet vermouth. — 10 years ago
Great value in village level Beaujolais with a very typical Gamay nose of leather, smoke, and earth which also come through on the palate with a dose of added spice from a little stay in oak foudres. Old vines, delicious, restrained and all you can ask for at this price. — 11 years ago
