The FMC Stellenbosch Chenin Blanc

This is awesome, by far the most memorable of the wines tasted today. Tons on tropical fruit, guava, mango. Wonderful weight, viscosity, and richness that has a shimmering acidity playing background. Lingering smooth finish. Highly recommended. — 11 years ago

Château Rieussec

Sauternes Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc Blend 1976

Donald Patz
9.7

1976 was almost fluorescent orange on release so many years ago now. Today it still has that telltale orange gleam but it's developed so beautifully. Orange peal, fig, honey, earth, mango, hazelnut, and on and on. 375ml still very fresh. Impressive. — 11 years ago

Le Vouvray Chenin Blanc 2013

Green apple with a little mango and mountain stream slate with a lingering tartness, it's a bright, nimble, and refreshing wine that makes me happy. — 11 years ago

Golden yellow in color, smell of orange zest, violet, mango, pineapple, almond and honey, medium body with a very rounded mouth feel, medium acidity balanced and complex, with a long finish. Heaven! — 11 years ago

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2013

Truly a lovely surprise! Fresh, just dry enough and slightly citrusy .... Summer beach breeze in a bottle! For 15$ this wine is exceptional. I sipped it with an ahi tuna salad with mango and goat cheese but I'd pair it with just about anything. For me, this wine is easily consumed with a group of friends with diverse tastes: a perfect "social" pairing! Salud! — 11 years ago

Vintner's Reserve California Chardonnay 2012

Not bad for the price. Smooth oak and says vibrant peach and mango flavored. Ca coastline. Sustainable practices. Www.kj.com — 13 years ago
