I know this one from Japanese manga Drops of God, finally got a chance to try it. 70% Carignan, 30% Grenache from old vines. Amazingly dark ruby color. Rich and concentrated on the nose. Blueberry, blackberry, plum, mint, black pepper, very earthy nose. Full bodied, medium acidity, I have to say this is some darn concentrated and focused juice. Very fruit driven, like an explosion of fruits, dried fruits also show up. There's subtle heat and sweetness on the finish but doesn't conceal the fact this is a great wine. 2012 vintage. Great wine from Catalayud Spain. Garnacha at it's best. Full bodied but smooth. Spicy and earthy. Had it at Local Restaurant in Jackson Wyoming. — 9 years ago
