Very nice, balanced mineral white. Medium body, with distinct peppery notes. A pleasure — 7 years ago
2015 Vintage - Fresh, clean up front, mineral, soft but full finish with a touch of nut. Supple, clear. Some leg. — 8 years ago
Wonderful blend for a warm spring day. Delightfully tart. Great texture. — 8 years ago
A cracking dry white from Porec Croatia — 9 years ago
Unique and excellent wine. Apricot, peach, green apple and almonds on the pallet. Toasty and a bit more viscous than a typical white. Straw yellow color. Great body. This wine is outstanding! I have always been impressed with this Slovenian producer. (Rojac) — 9 years ago
Peaches, truffles, hazelnuts. A real enjoyable weirdo. — 10 years ago
Prunes soaked in coffee. So interesting. — 12 years ago
This is really special. Quite unusual. Sweet as a Sauternes, but with a nutty earthy berry aspect. Tart acidity cuts through it all. Excellent. — 6 years ago
Orange, 9 month masceration. Grape from Greece but very Venetian. From very rocky soil and a lot of minerality. Not sweet or crisp like a traditional white wine. — 7 years ago
Dense and almost candied. Magnum needed time to open but after a few hours it showed beautiful candied stone fruit and herbaceous notes. Probably could have kept it for another decade but the occasion called for something unique. — 8 years ago
Brown is the new orange. This 2006 is drinking surprisingly bright and salty for a wine it's age and color. Dirty. And appealing. Though not as "weird" as I expected. — 8 years ago
Delicious. Honey on the nose, palate is like biting into a fresh peach, but with some tartness and acidity. A hint of cream and vanilla. Would be great with spicy fish tacos — 9 years ago
My first 'orange' wine. Paired well with Serbian red pepper spread and burek pie. Cardamom, pear. — 9 years ago
5% abv. Was expecting Malvasia, not this. That said, this was quite nice in a light dessert wine, left on skins a bit, which impacted color and structure a bit. Can't wait to open my second bottle to enjoy with the organic strawberry pop tarts I ordered from my farm share - would be unbelievable. I prefer Moscato or Brachetto, but with a fruit dessert or cheese/fruit/jam, this would be great. — 10 years ago
2013 - dry, refreshing, salty minerals, grape fruit, white flowers - elegant! — 10 years ago
1967 vintage, been opened for a week but shows no sign of that.. just amazing! worth the price — 10 years ago
Sweet and fresh! — 11 years ago
Rich and with very good acidity, caramel, brown butter and raisin. — 6 years ago
A rich cinnamon tar jumps out of the glass, like a heavily spiced hard-crack toffee. There are warm notes of golden raisins, rum cake, and cream cheese icing, with a slight balsa wood and golden leaf tobacco, both of which come to the forefront on the palate. The slightest lingering apricot fiber on the tail. Incredible. — 6 years ago
Sweet front palate, acidity in the end — 9 years ago
blaga, fina, vocno, citrus, na nivou, mineralna — 9 years ago
Awesome - nice salinity, bit of zing from what tastes like skin contact — 9 years ago
A great specimen of Malvasia. Not a great companion of fish I had but a very well structured fruity wine full of taste. Loved it — 9 years ago
Stewed orange peel and caramel - beautiful balance of slight sweetness and acid. — 10 years ago
