50/50 sangiovese grosso and merlot. Full bodied with dark fruit, some touches of coffee with bitterness and acidity but great structure with earthiness and great tannins with a long finish. Definitely something to try again. — 3 months ago
Semi dry with a bolder finish. — 3 months ago
Great aged tannins, cherry, black currant/creme de cassis, leather — 5 months ago
Pours a copper-gold color that will immediately make you wonder if this has been oxidized, but apparently that's the style. Like their reds, they seem to turn everything up to 11 in Montefalco.
After decanting in the glass, aromas of toffee, white flowers, almonds, bitter oranges, and minerals. Very funky and interesting, but not something I'd hand innocent wine drinkers. — 8 months ago
2021 vintage.
Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from Tuscany.
Deep, dark ruby red colour.
Blackberry, bay leaf and herbal on the nose.
Smooth tannins with dark plums, boysenberry, tobacco and vanilla.

Drinking in 2025. Has aged well. Beautiful and fragrant nose of dark cherries, tobacco, snd vanilla followed by spices and hints of herbs on the palate. Time has no doubt mellowed the tannins and transitions to a longish smooth finish. Acidity still present and will continue to age well. Suspect lower ratings reflect people drinking this wine young. — 2 months ago
