Zesty and lively, this Croatian white pops with citrus, white peach, and almond notes. A great foil for rotisserie chicken and a warm early-summer evening. 100% Malvazija. 6/12/22. — 3 years ago
Amazing color. Peach, apricot, iced tea. A little nail polish on the nose too. Got some grip. High acidity. — 5 years ago

Wonderfully balanced wine. — 9 months ago
A pure delight summer sipper. Medium weight, nice crisp texture. I am falling in love with a few Sonoma Italian blends. Clean, largely unoaked, food-friendly wines that let the food shine while elevating fruit, acid, alcohol to a whole new level. Perfect for the first 90+ Chicago summer day. — 5 years ago
Excellent, almost basque cider like gentle tart. Straw yellow haze, probably some skin contact. — 5 years ago
63/25/12 blend of Vermentino, Muscat and Malavasia Bianca, and yes, pet-nat. Still Applegate Valley AVA but no vineyard designation on this one. Pale yellow white, good foam on pour but light carbonation, bubbles disappear relatively quickly. Slight sulfite in nose, but not much else. In the mouth, creamy, slightly bubbly, lemon-lime flavor with a touch of Muscat, followed by a tangy largely lemon-lime finish. Easy to love, especially on a warm day. Fun and sure to prove popular. Not a wine to overthink, just drink... — 6 years ago

Rich, complex drinking. — 7 years ago
Thick, dense, heavy, dry fruit. Good, clean, but not terribly versitile. Good that it was a dessert pairing. Will try again. — 8 years ago
A beautiful desert wine to finish off the evening. — 10 years ago

Deep dark ruby red.
Perfumed nose with black currants, violets, olives and cocoa.
Ripe black plums, leather, black tea with polished silky tannins.

Very light tasting for a dry wine! — 5 years ago
Tropical nose. Acidity in the middle, finishing barnyard. Really nice layers of complexity. — 6 years ago
The color is a pale orange red, kind of coppery. Beautiful. smells like tart fruit - blood orange and strawberry - but also detecting earthiness, maybe rocks, salt. Texture is light but poppy. Tastes like bright fruit, acid, ash and salt. This is special. The hype is real. — 7 years ago

Deep ruby rose color, with violet hints over a medium body. Nose is rich, with rose petal, orange peel, peppery hints and maybe some baked rhubarb or berry jam with hints of pine and wet wood. The palate is vanilla, rose, raspberry compote, and beautifully integrated tannin that grip but don’t dry, with big meaty, almost jerky like notes that linger for a long time, with a taste of bbq sauce on the finish. — 8 months ago
