Deep ruby color. Pure ripe berry fruit on the nose. Currant. Hints of oak Simple and not very complex. Tart cherry, on the palate, it has good acid and is bright and fresh. The lack of "size and jaminess" is appreciated in this wine. It's subtle, but nice and drinkable.

1991 vintage when Bruno D'Alfonso was the consulting winemaker. Brick red. Lovely integrated brown spice, anise, black pepper and red fruit. Wonderfully long finish showing coastal influence. Great longevity. — 9 years ago
