Floral, lime zest, salt — 5 years ago
Lemon skin, green apple, subtle floral notes lIke lilies, and wet rocks on the nose. Tastes really light and delicate with a lingering sweetness. Reminds me a lot of Alvarinho — 6 years ago
Malagousia/Assyrtiko/Roditis. Grassy, sauv blanc like nose, but balanced and lush on palate. Like. — 6 years ago
Much smoother than the Santorini one, paired only with a softer white cheese or on its own. — 7 years ago
Really crisp and delicious — 8 years ago
Vintage 2015 - a nose with lemon, citrus and a slight touch of passion fruit. Crisp wine of Malagousia grapes and Assyrtiko grapes. Good acidity, nice balance, citrus aftertaste. Wine with character for adventurous winelovers, buy Gerovassiliou when you find it... — 9 years ago
Powerful, mineral, peachy, refreshing acid. Nicely done — 10 years ago
Great choice with halibut — 11 years ago
Looks like moscato. Smells like moscato. Slightly effervescent like a moscato. And yet it tastes dry... good with Ottolenghi recipies and adventurous souls. — 12 years ago
First time with this varietal. Tasted like a cross between Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc. Crisp and acidic but also glycerin and some perfume. It’s so fun. Doing a bang up job pairing with Greek appetizers. — 4 years ago
Great wine from Greece! — 6 years ago
Love that this wine helps protect turtles and is great in its own right. Unique flavor like citra hops in an IPA, light an fruity bit like mead (honey and spice). Notes are floral, grapefruit, honey, green pepper, spice, clay minerality. — 6 years ago
Not cloyingly sweet and very nicely weighted — 7 years ago
Malagouzia superb! — 8 years ago
Delicious. Smooth with the right amount of brightness. Perfect with the Greek seafood at Loi. — 10 years ago
If Viognier was in a cauldron, and you threw in caramel covered apples, and cheesy aromas, and took out the dense almost oily palate Viognier tends to have, you would be describing this white Malaguzia from Lykos Winery in Greece. Explosive aromas of star jasmine without a hint of residual sugar I can't wait to pair this white Malaguzia with something soon. Great value wine for Gewürztraminer or Viognier lovers to try something new! — 10 years ago
Very sweet an fruity wine — 12 years ago
better on day 2. apricot, crisp, round, salinity, acid. very fun wine! — 5 years ago
First time trying this grape, and haven’t always had hits from Greece, but this one was quite enjoyable. Nice fruits and earthiness, easy to drink, would complement many types of foods. Probably a repeat, especially for less than $20. — 5 years ago
Not as fruity as one would think. mid range dryness. — 6 years ago
Rosey tones. Good weight and nice texture. — 7 years ago
