2007 vintage. From Jay. Clusel-Roch Cote Rotie "Les Grandes Places" - Quite the little firecracker. Very sexy and seductive on the nose with the rich scent of blackberries and ripe black cherries wrapped up in an envelope of smoke. Very lush on the palette mirroring the elements picked up on the nose with the presence of cracked black pepper. Fruit forward but with good balance...there is no lack of acidity here and the tannins are precise and well integrated. Very decadent wine but in a sophisticated fashion...St. Moritz in the '60s. Lovely ruby colour. Punches above its weight. Drink now to 2020. 92/100.

Tuoksussa vahvaa tammea. Maku nahkainen, vahvasti tanniininen ja lämmittävä. Alkoholi ei tule selvästi läpi vaikka kyseessä 15 % pullote. — 11 years ago
St Moritz .i really like this wine — 10 years ago
Decanted and waited 2 hours for this tightly wound up boy to turn into a gracious gentleman. A lot of blueberries and hickory smoke — 10 years ago
Lovely and smooth. I prefer to drink it on it's own rather than with food. — 11 years ago

A: Dark red with cherry reflections. Clean and nice. 4/5
S: Equilibrated smell, some sourness and sweetness, although it follows the sourness a bit more. A bit of alcohol and cherry. 3.75/5
T: The taste is pleasant. It has a nice equilibrium between sweetness and sourness, although I believe its closer to sour wines. A little alcohol taste, and some wood (close to cork) 3.75/5
F: The feeling is nice, pleasant for an everyday wine. 3.75/5
O: Very nice, we can consider buying it again. 3.75/5 — 10 years ago
