Smooth with some bite. Really enjoy this one. — 8 years ago
Excellentes bulles , fines et délicates mais fraîcheur incroyable en bouche ! 30$ — 8 years ago
This was a recommendation and I'm glad I got it. Gamay is a grape the mat is suited to the Valley weather and this one lives up to region. Very smooth wand well balanced. Nice taste of cherries and will be good with seafood or beef. Only hope I can get more of this fine BC wine. — 9 years ago
Magnifique, délicat, une joie — 10 years ago
Pure pinot! Lots of fruit, yet satisfying structure and length. Better than most Oregon or Washington pinots I've tried. — 11 years ago
Deep color At opening some aroma of iron/blood Great dark ripe fruit without evidence of the years heat Perfect balance and long, long finish A wonderful wine At Millers Guild with Jake and Joie — 11 years ago
Une très jolie bulle de joie sur l'appellation d'oxydation contrôlée. Merci Justine ! — 11 years ago
Mid velvety ruby. Deep fruit, almost truffley, dry, very mature tannins supporting fruit, very much full of joie de vivre! — 12 years ago
The 2014 Léoville Las-Cases has a (typically) more introverted, tertiary, austere bouquet compared to the Léoville Barton. Despite coaxing it does not possess much lift – sullen, a wine with a "Closed" sign dangling on the front door. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, solid with a sweet core, nicely proportion but just not quite conveying the same joie-de-vivre and energy as its peers. "Perhaps it is saving everything for later?" are the words I penned before this wine's identity is revealed...well, I should have known. Tasted blind at the annual Southwold tasting. Got it as bday gift from M&M when they visited LB in 2015. Had it with them one year later in Cliff Dr home terrace overlooking Pacific sunset (after great dinner at Fusion). Rockstar. — 9 years ago

"It is the essence of the joie de vivre youth movement in France and an ideal subject for those feeling out of sorts and out of touch with their lighter and more adventurous side." -Rimmerman — 10 years ago
J's Winemaking Team Melissa, Scott and Scott are exploring their Joie de Gris in our estate Pinot Gris Cooper Vineyard. Check out the dark skins on the fruit which belie this white grape's status. The resulting wine is fresh, tropical and delicious. — 11 years ago

Nez de fruits rouge et champignon. Bouche puissante, longue, ronde. Pas une complexité de fou, mais pas trop de bois, ce qui suffit à ma joie. 20/25e la bouteille. Intéressant. Bonne image d'un bin bordelais pas trop parkerisé — 7 years ago
