Paul Bridgeman does it right! This is solid and tight, yet a joy tonight. Just the right amount of greenery to be pleasant with the fine fruit and its long, savory finish. — 10 years ago
This was a joy to drink. Strong notes of honey, beautiful body and altogether enjoyable. — 10 years ago
This is one of my go-to weekday wines. White peach flesh, under ripe pear and wet rock on the nose. Honeydew melon, lime rind and rocks covered in flowers on the palate, the fruit is so well balanced with the acidity and minerality, it's a joy. The finish is clean but reminiscent of these flavors with an almost honeyed echo. Exceptional wine for twice the price of what it retails for. — 9 years ago
No comment.... speechless.
Just pure joy.
This is perfection.

Aromas leap from the glass; showing slight develop an indications of suntan year with prominent petrol and rubber, otherwise is all things citrus with lime, green apple, white grapefruit and a touch of elderflower. Plenty of drive and concentration on the palate, a joy to drink — 9 years ago
The 1992 Volcanic Hill is finally shedding its wall of tannins and revealing gobs of fruit, earth and integrated spice. A pure joy to drink. Humming along at this stage, thinking it has reached its peak of pleasure. — 10 years ago
An off vintage but a solid effort. Much better than the IX Estate of the same vintage. Thanks Joy!!! — 10 years ago

Like most of Dickson's wines, there's a little bit of VA (and it tends to become more pronounced the longer the wine sits open). However, other than the slight VA this was a real joy to drink. Totally unique and happy that someone is making wines of this caliber in Texas. — 9 years ago
