Beautifully balanced this layered Merlot shows delightful hints of dark chocolate, pepper with traces of vanilla. A proud Canadian spending 21 months in French oak then aged another 12 months before its release it is a prime example of how far the Okanagan wines have come in and finally earning the right to be on the stage of truly great wines. @David A Lentine opened this tonight with dinner. Wow, thank you so much! This is Sequoia Grove at its best. It's just perfect now, all the tannins have fully integrated with flavors of cassis, blackberry, with some cherry and herb at the finish. Brilliantly balanced.
