Clear deep orange to bright red color with tear drop. Fascinating color.
First scents: pomegranate, cherry, cherry comport, dried dates, walnuts, raisins, dried pineapple.
Second notes: plum, red shiso (Japanese herbs ),
Third aroma: black olive, oil, sweet red fruits, ink, rubber, blood.
Crispy acid and deep powerful sweetly sour attack with nuance of fruits, barrel, olive oil, vanilla, woody or sherry like brewed hint. Good bitterness. Complexity. Interesting taste. — 9 years ago

Took this one to a bottle share and it was one of the top wines there. Drinking amazing now and glad I held onto it. Tons of life in it and it could've laid down for another several years just fine.
