Madeline and cornbread entry succumbs to rice paper smoke aromas and flint-strike nose. Lemongrass, ginger and smoke emerge momentous and peaty in the middle with caramel and hazelnut oil fringes. Depth for leagues, and a clean-up-set finish with chive and nutmeg, brown sugar and lemon oil. — 9 years ago
@Delectable Wine This is a '99 Prager Madeline Late Harvest Riesling. Happy Holy Holidays. Butterscotch, honeycomb, rum-soaked apricot, with a floral character rounding out the margins. Purchased on a trip to the winery on a very rainy day...fifteen years ago. — 10 years ago
Just a beautiful wine. Elegant but gutsy. Fruit still very much to the fore. Nice secondary flavours coming into play. A stunner with plenty of life ahead. — 10 years ago

A California take on the Sauterne, this one is delightful even nine years on. The bouquet is restrained, with just a touch of fruit notes. On the palate it is predominantly citrus with notes of vanilla and caramel and a sweet finish. Lovely. — 9 years ago

Great wine for a Saturday evening with Madeline. Bright cherry and strawberry notes and a fantastic ruby color. There's a light mineral nose that really sets this wine apart from other great pinots. — 9 years ago
Extremely sweet dessert wine, with a good docile profile to back it up. A great surprise to end a great evening with. — 9 years ago
