Very unique. Somm select wine drank at buttermilk farms. Metallic, limestone, citrus, moth balls — 11 years ago
Apricots all the way, a nice pie of perfectly ripe and highly unripe apricots. So delicious. My sister was taken back by the acid attack on her teeth 😂 this is definitely how i love my Chenin blanc. So far this makes my top Anjou experiences. Perfect balance of acid and mad flavor. Yes I agree! — 11 years ago

Temperanillo, Grenache and Barbara. Good example of the mad scientist blends they do in the Valle. Really fun, fruity blend. A bit oily body, lots of spice. But fruit reigns. — 9 years ago

Taste is great love the sweet notes — 10 years ago

One of three offerings from Mad Fritz last night @ NVWTG. Not usually a stout fan, I thoroughly enjoyed this well balanced brew. Wish I had snapped pics of the others! Great beer with a great story. Serious craftsmanship at work. — 10 years ago
Excellent. Full bodied. Bordeaux style but even better — 10 years ago
Lots of tiny bubbles with a thick head. Good aroma of cloves, banana and spice. Smooth, balanced mouthfeel with light malt and a bit of hops. The barrel aging brings the flavors together nicely! — 11 years ago
Great natural craft beer...the cloudy pour reminds me of Belgian natural yeasty draft...not too much citrus but still crisp with a depth that lingers... — 11 years ago
Last one left !! — 11 years ago
Another one I picked up when in Lake Tahoe, again, great brewery way up north, and I would easily buy this if it was here in Nevada, nice nice hops in this one, and for a double with 8.6 AVB, you can not tell, dangerous stuff if you are having a few, — 12 years ago
Carmenere has quickly become one of our favorites and 2009 would have more body but this 2012 is very good. — 12 years ago

Sardine House
Deep coloured robe with long legs. Nose of cigars, oak and plumb with hints of pepper. Round, almost sweet taste of plumbs, well balanced with tannins. Medium finish with lingering tannins. Lovely. — 9 years ago
