Bought at Hudson Wine Merchants and drank alongside rosemary manchego, casteveltrano olives, almonds, lemony crackers, and turmeric sesame challah in the cutest Airbnb while writing something fun with Abigail — 6 years ago
Very nice, slightly mineral, exckeloent with fish. 80% Bical 20% Arinto — 7 years ago
— 7 years ago
Perfect. Did not require food to make it delicious. Not a big flavour profile, but super clean, great finish, excellent balance. — 8 years ago
Luis' top red cuvée from his oldest vines of Brancellao, Caiño Redondo, Caiño Longo and Ferrol. Unlike the "regular" A Torna Dos Pasas, the Escolma is aged in new and used French barriques for 1yr and bottle-aged for another 3 years.
Red and black tart berry fruit, backbone of fine tannins and Atlantic/granite minerality.
This is Spanish wine for Burgundy lovers. Amazing. — 9 years ago
Great value. — 10 years ago
Incredibly layered stuff, with teeth-staining minerality, balanced by rich fruit flavors, bordering on tropical with plenty of grilled lemon juiciness in reserve. Never-ending finish with a complex tannic grip providing lift and energy. Thru 2020, at least. — 10 years ago
What an amazjng texture. Rhone throughout, wish there was more of this. — 11 years ago
Fan-damn-tastic wine..a++++ — 13 years ago

Dark fruit, tart tannins, complex. I’d buy a case of this vintage and enjoy with a Cohiba from Havana 🇨🇺 — 8 years ago
Great with our Mexican meal at Toucan Resort. Definite do over. I hope they have it at the LCBO in Ontario. — 9 years ago
Fragrant and delicately fruity, gorgeous peachy-pink. What you drink when a fascist, racist sexual predator defeats the should-have-been-first-woman-president. — 9 years ago
Last minute addition to my table at wine riot! So great. — 10 years ago
Deliciousness and perfect pairing for a cold winter night. Can't wait to see it on day two. — 10 years ago
Beautiful Zin, among the best I've had from Paso. — 11 years ago

Dirty, dusty red fruit - red currant, raspberry, rose hip, but also a whiff of blood orange with a mineral core underneath, fresh & slightly funky.
Bone dry on the palate, with persistent bubbles, juicy fruit and a slight touch of tannins. The irony, bloody character of Baga shines through.
Unorthodox, delicious stuff. Brilliant with food. — 4 years ago
