This one never gets old! Delicious Pineau d'Aunis from Loire. — 10 years ago
Lagunitas crushed it with this Red. Before I got into IPAs, ambers were my thing. This one is off the charts good. If you are a big Fat Tire fan, you may not appreciate the higher IBUs and ABV. If you are someone who likes both IPAs and Ambers, you're going to friggin love this. Makes me teary eyed to think this is a limited release and yet Buttweiper continues to exist. — 10 years ago
Pierre Lurton dropped by the shop today with this bottle (among others - lucky me)! Fresh and vivacious. 53% Cab Franc & 47% Merlot. Cool green Franc character really shines without occupying the field. Fine, elegant tannins lend beautiful bone structure. I'm sure this will age forever, but I thought it was drinking spectacularly well today. — 10 years ago
2013- if you can find it you are lucky. Very refreshing, bright and smooth Rutherford grade. #RedCapVineyards — 11 years ago

The fight was a draw on points but on QPR the judges voted on the Palmer 🥇
At £340 it has less life but better & a bigger thrill drinking today 🥊 a bit more masculine than Ch Margaux

In game, with curry. Such a fortunate one to drink a bottle of this every year. Even if it is only one bottle, considering myself lucky. — 9 years ago
celebrating some news from another lucky country! fruity, a little spice, and balanced for a shiraz — 10 years ago
Amazing, lucky to have been invited to try this.....first time.... The nose in this 2002 was really amazing, super complex...still the px way out of range and particularly my budget!!!! — 10 years ago
With a 2" depressed cork and questionable fill, we were all hesitant with our expectations, to say the least. Let me be clear: this wine was beautiful. Such an experience to taste a 61 year old wine that still has life in it. Liquid music, poetry you can taste, or whatever artistic production you want to draw upon, this wine was as captivating as a live performance. This was light garnet in color without any brown, with open aromas of soy sauce, cranberry jam, truffle, potting soil, dried prune, green tea, and black coffee, the wine's structure said Here, let me show you these flavors, like a welcoming dinner party host who isn't over-trodden about anything that just puts you at ease. Wines like this are art in a bottle. — 11 years ago

Superb integrated with sappy fruit and vanilla notes long finish . I'm lucky to have more!! — 11 years ago
Lost Draw Cellars is new Texas winery from Andy Timmons, one of the biggest growers in the Texas High Plains AVA.
Arroyo Rojo is a Red Blend of Carignan, Mourvèdre, Grenache, and a touch of Viognier. We really enjoyed this wine. — 11 years ago
32 Winds Lucky Well PN Barrel Sample. 91-93 Points. — 8 years ago
Tasted blind chez Roulot, and of course it is an 04. Vibrant acidity, unfurling now past a tight reduction into an open, maturing mix of rich citrus, tea, spice, stone. Lovely and lucky — 8 years ago
Super fresh and complex — 9 years ago
Different half oak and steel! Will buy. — 9 years ago
It's alive!! Another amazing Pineau d'Aunis! I do feel Lucky to be drinking it! Raspberry, burnt orange, roses, oh my! — 10 years ago

This made me realize as a novice wine drinker that dirt makes all the difference. Chile has a distinct way to bring out the parts of a grape that you feeling in the back of your mouth. A great fun CabSav. Best shared in one sitting. — 11 years ago
Nice oak and nice acidity. Pair with some rich nigiri. — 11 years ago

Occasionally you come across an incredible wine at a price that makes your draw drop on the quality to price ratio 😎
La Croix St George’s has always delivered amazing value from Pomerol for me but today we found a 1990 at €90 & to say it blew us away is a complete understatement!!
We immediately bought the other 11, in the case we found lurking in a cellar in St Emilion, & drank this one with a Beef Steak in a local restaurant for lunch - it was simply superb 😍
Aromas to die for & full of complex fruits with age potential left 😉 Normally you’d pay €200-€500 for a wine like this!
I’ll do a detailed review on the next bottle as we just enjoyed this so much we didn’t take notes but this 1990 La Croix St Georges is a 98-99 pointer for us ..... & at €90 😍 Incredible 💥 A very understated wine 😎
Got to love St Emilion backstreet cellars 😉👍🍷
Did I say it was €90 😁 — 8 years ago
