2010. From my limited experience with these wines it seemed gentle for Mouton - which I liked, on a personal note. More acid, less power, mild tannins. Smoky, spice box, sour cherry, tobacco. I'd like to try it again in 7-10 years. #FancyWine — 10 years ago

$313 bottle of opus one sat waiting in our wine cooler for 4 years (cost less than $200 then). Gentlemen at the winery told us 7 years would make for optimum drinking but could hold on for 15+ yrs. celebrating the new year so we opened it exactly 7 years later. Definitely needed time to breathe and open up but really enjoyed this Cali Bordeaux blend. Not super big/dark or highly tannic like some reviews stated but rather easy to drink in my opinion :) — 10 years ago
