Need I say much. Though ironically this showed a lot of bell pepper similar to a 09 Hewitson Mourvèdre. — 12 years ago

I'd get to drinking your 97's now. Good...great actually but beginning to lose a lot. Cork was quite soft on mine. Flavor...like California...but smoother ;-) — 11 years ago

Very good everyday table wine — 11 years ago
Pop and pour. Black cherry, kirsch, black licorice, and some wood smoke both on the nose and palate. Deep ruby color, medium body. A nice impression of fruit—big, but not as heavy as expected. Medium tannins, medium acids, but they linger onto the finish. A decent wine, with better-than-average complexity. I'd get half a case of this and be quite happy... — 11 years ago

Initially pine resin and cassis in the nose. As it opens more red meat and oil cured olives. Dark dried cherry, star anise, harsh tannins, still a baby. Changed a lot in the glass. Would decant. — 11 years ago
