This one threw me for a loop. Olives on the nose and plum fruit on the palate. Very heavy mouthfeel, fat and smooth on night one - almost no tannins came through. Monochromatic; without the acid it was hard to have more than a glass. Night two much more tannic and coarse. Not sure what to make of it. — 10 years ago

2006 Liger- Bel Air La Romanee Burgundy. Date night at Rd. Decanted 30 min before leaving and decanted again at table. Def got better in the glass as it is so young. K noted to decant for a couple more hours next time. — 9 years ago
