As the story goes, the owner bought the property and found this grape growing on it. Eventually named it after himself and began producing wine. This on uses a passamento method on half the grapes. Incredibly fresh, strong acid and slightly tannic, citrus fruits and some minor oxidative notes, it reminds me a lot of savagnin from Jura. Very enjoyable, some fresh seafood with this vino would be perfect. — 8 years ago
