16’ Lone Birch Pinot Gris. I have a love-hate relationship with Pinot Gris’s. Sometimes the acid is just a little much for my taste. This is not the case with this. This would pair wonderfully with a baked salmon!
Profile- Classic, acidity throughout the glass. Lemon, green apple, grapefruit, spicy, richness to it. Not a varietal I normally would gravitate towards. Nice bottle of wine. — 7 years ago
For not being much of a Zin drinker, this is good! — 8 years ago
Wowsa, had this for a few years and what an amazing surprise. A bit of fruit, small tannin so very smooth ending that lingers. — 9 years ago
Cassis and vanilla. A fav! — 9 years ago
Absolutely amazing! Drinking form a magnum. Decanted 1.50 hours. Still strong and focused. The mint is starting to hit. Sleek. This wine is on rails and rolls like a train. No need to wait any longer. — 9 years ago

Different blend from 2011: much more Viognier and Picpoul Blanc. Aromatic and high acidity, given backbone with subtly rich texture. — 10 years ago
We really enjoyed it. Bottle itself is heavy duty. — 10 years ago
Loved this with my English pea agnolotti but great alone too. — 11 years ago

Still drinks super young. Taking it's time to open up. Lots of fruit and even more tannin to back it up. — 9 years ago
