2004 vintage. From Jay. 2004 Bartolo Mascarello - Brief Note from Galloni Historical Retrospective Held in London April 26, 2016. Dark ruby colour. Fresh violets on the nose together with cherries. A little tobacco wrapper. Cracked cloves. Nice fruit on the pallet and very silky. This is both elegant and old school in all the right ways. 92+/100. Drink 2017 to 2028+ — 8 years ago
Bready, yeasty goodness. — 9 years ago
Out at the winery we gave it a taste. Very nice. England is making some great sparkling wines. Picked up a magnum of their 2004. — 9 years ago
Very dark, but smooth and bubbly and not as heavy as it appears. Tasty and easy to drink like a lager with notes of chocolate. — 9 years ago

I have been looking forward to trying this for a while and it did not disappoint.
Took a while to open up but then exploded with biscuity citrusy goodness. — 7 years ago
ESB. Arômes floraux et de noisette. En bouche, un malt noisette et accompagne d'une légère amertume et d'un houblon floral. Les tout balance à merveille. Tout est dans la finesse dans cette bière. Une ESB incontournable. — 9 years ago
Delicious! On the dryer side but still fruity. Effervescent. — 9 years ago

1995 vintage Zinfandel. Firm upper cork gave way a bit on the inside lower half inch but removed it all with a little care. That cork was Tight for twenty years. Must have been bold when young. It was pale light red, almost heavily faded but smelled sweet. Not as sweet to the taste but a mellow and a hint of cranberry after airing out. Dry. — 9 years ago

First taste of an English sparkling wine. Very impressed, lots in common with good quality champagne made from the same grapes. — 7 years ago
