What a fantastic Cote du Rhone! It is everything I could ever want in in a Rhone wine. Unfortunately the owner of the wine bar bought every case he could get his hands on. So you have to go to the Plaza Food Court wine bar on Central Park South if you want to sample this ambrosia! Pretty tasty stuff.. this is my 3rd Jurancon dessert wine in 3 days and they're growing on me. Very peachy with some funk on the nose. Palate is cool because it's not too sweet, but has a nice balancing acidity at the end. Peach, pineapple rind, and a bit of nuttiness. That's fun. — 10 years ago
