Drinking this dark fruit and tannin heavy wine at a bar open since 1864. Pairs well with the loma de bief and helps cut through any fat. Sitting on a street corner in San Telmo you can taste the history and see the ruby red rich beauty. — 7 years ago
On the nose, beautiful, ruby, floral dark cassis. Blackberries, black plum, plum, blueberries, raspberries, pepper, light caramel, rich dark soils with fields of lavender & violets.
The body is medium. The palate is fresh, elegant & well rounded. The fruits are; ruby, floral dark cassis. Blackberries, black plum, plum, blueberries & raspberries. Pepper, light caramel, some leather, dry crushed rocks, rich dark soils, well rounded acidity with lavender & violets. The rich, balanced finish is leaner in style and easy to drink.

Noh! Vinho excelente! Me lembrou muito um bordeaux. Tanino forte, um gosto bem fechadinho com um pouco de terra. Achei pouco frutado. — 6 years ago

This is their unfiltered Syrah. I’ve asked Delectable to add the it.
Very earthy nose. Pepper, spice, dark currants, tarry notes, core of anise, loamy soils and dark withering flowers.
The body is medium full. The tannins meaty, chewy and sticky. The fruits are dark and ripe, blackberries, black raspberries, black plum, notes of blue fruits, creamy raspberries on the edges of the palate. Dark moist, turned earth, leather, crushed dry rocks, dry stone, some herbaceous notes, dark purple florals, round acidity and a rich polish finish that runs ripe fruit to dry tannins.
