Clove. Star anise. Warmth. The acid that holds this wine together is stunning. At 15.7 abv (shows a little on the nose, but more on the finish) this is not a shy wine. Kudos Mike for giving 0 F's and making balanced killer Cali old vine zin. — 8 years ago

Light peach and floral with hint of smoke hays on the nose. Profound minerality weaves through a round and slight waxy palate, with a long spicy and salty finish. I don’t drink Chenin Blanc often, but with a bit bottle age, this bottle is showing very nice. — 5 years ago
