The 2012 Kindred is 100% #azwines #azwinecountry in the house! This GSM (Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre) blend is a collaboration between several vineyards/winemakers in AZ, 1 of which is @caduceuscellars. Each vineyard contributed barrels of particular varietal(s) the result is a light bodied red, Crimson hue, spicy black pepper. Smooth as all heck with equally smooth finish. The fruit is turned way done. You get hints of raspberries but nothing too dominate to qualify tho as a "fruity" wine. — 10 years ago

This is now a vintage red table wine, the “non-vintage” and “proprietary” elements in the label are gone. This was the only Arizona wine available at the local Trader Joe’s, so relatively cheap. But how does it rate? Brick red, light to moderate pigment extraction. Cherry and black currant notes in nose. Soft, ripe red fruit flavors, primarily cherry and raspberry, slightly tart finish. Later, strawberry jam and plum flavors emerge. Not bad for a basic red table wine, great value. A good reminder here: You never go wrong drinking local. — 6 years ago
