Good wine from a good producer in Mendocino County. Bone dry zin with a bit of spice and fruit shining through. Medium finish works really well as a food wine. — 12 years ago
Last time I enjoyed a César it was a '98 vintage. That was just 2 years ago; I must say this young one was surprisingly full of charm. — 12 years ago
This wine is da bomb! This winemaker has a lot of good wines, but this one shines with fruit and licorice. A little black pepper rounds out this beautiful ruby colored wine. The nose is a bit light, but the tannins are nicely balanced and the finish is medium-to-long. I plan to get more! — 12 years ago
First impression is drawn from the light bright garnet color. Light floral nose but beautiful rainier cherries and smoke on the palate. Bright but balanced acidity leads to a long finish. Nice. — 12 years ago

A pretty and rather feminine Grenache. Gorgeous deep red color. Beautiful minerality that seems just a bit like the ocean, sea salt in a way that doesn't seem like it should work, but does. — 12 years ago
