One of my favorite Zin and vineyard — 7 years ago
Not a big fan of white wine. This 2005 one is really special one. The color, clarity, nose and body is top quality. — 7 years ago
Ever so delightful. I'd eat with anything with a berry sauce. It is so rich, so balanced between tannin, acid and residual sugar that you get lost. Like every other Dutcher Crossing I've tasted it is a beaut. More on ye silly blog. Zin forever? I say so. — 8 years ago
Very nice and smooth. More subtle oak than previous vintage, leading to a more balanced Chardonnay. — 9 years ago
Certainly better than the 2011. Lower alcohol for a CA red. Medium tannins. Not very complex kinda meh on the Livermore Cabs — 10 years ago
Amazing body. Cherry and an incredibly smooth finish — 11 years ago
Great zin... High acidity, non of the strong alcohol feel... — 7 years ago
This yellow-gold wine rings the “old-style Cali” bell in all the right ways. A nose of apricots, mangoes and apples is helped along with the smell of buttered popcorn. Oak treats the palate as well, draping over the tropical fruit like a sunshade. The acidity is zesty, yet the mouthfeel tends toward creaminess due to the wine sitting on the lees for five months. The oak is a definite part of the wine, but the effect is softened enough so that it's a pleasure, not a pain. — 7 years ago
Really great drinking wine. Would be good with good but wouldn’t completely stand up to bigger reds. — 7 years ago
I think this is my favorite wine from steven kent. Would love to try this against some good vintage lineages. It's got a great nose, mouth watering acid and flavors, and enough tannins to get your attention. Not dark dark fruit. More mixed with prominent red fruit. Really in a nice spot. These wines are really meant to have this kind of age on them. — 8 years ago

Drinking the 2003 in May 2017. Amazing still! — 8 years ago
Very nice merlot. — 9 years ago
Great unique tasting wine. Spicey — 10 years ago
Vanilla and berry at first.. Velvet and smooth on the mouth. Then a bit of a bite at the end. Not overwhelming at all, so I wouldn't be afraid to pair it with lighter dishes or to sip solo. — 10 years ago
Borrowed photo but this wine is awesome! I'm not generally a cab fan but this is an excellent blend. — 11 years ago
Best under $20 Cabernet, hands down! — 13 years ago
Black cherry, vanilla, licorice, oak, blackberry, raspberry and eucalyptus. Great structure and moderate tannins. — 7 years ago
Sette Ponti or "seven bridges," refers to the 7 bridges crossing the Arno River on the road from Arezzo to Florence. Blend of 50% Merlot, 40% Cab Sauv & 10% Petit Verdot, aged 18 months in new French oak. Went to a tasting, had ‘14 & ‘15 side by side. Very dark enticing red with concentrated aromas of dark fruits & earthy notes. Flavors of cherry & plum with tobacco and spice. Firm but approachable tannins, medium length ending with a bit of spice as the finish builds. Best to drink ‘14 now. Tasting Sample. — 7 years ago
Blackberry and blueberry. Paired it with garlic rack of lamb. — 8 years ago
Good daily red, still some strong tannins — 8 years ago
Julio delivers once again! Bring me some toast for this jam! Oh yes! — 9 years ago
