Welcome back post. Apple, lime curd, dense with soft acidity. Very nice with starters at Vicia last night. — 4 years ago
tropical fruit, some citrusy lime, wet stone and beeswax notes to it. Palate is similar with a pleasant mouthfeel and nice acidity. Great on its own or with food. — 6 years ago
This is an interesting mouthful of wine - citrus tang on the nose, but in the mouth it's like a green papaya salad (spice, lime, fresh tropical fruit). Love it. — 8 years ago
A somewhat muted nose at this point with notes of citrus and wet stone. Juicy and quite dry on the palate with lots of minerality. Much dryer on the palate than the 2014 vintage. Light, juicy flavors of lemon, lime and a touch of peach lead to big, bright acidity and lots of crunchy wet stone and slate notes. The finish is long and very crisp with lots of bright acidity. Great sushi pairing for the evening. — 9 years ago
2016
Fresh, vibrant, delicious, alive! Pure lime flavours and amazing acidity. Bought one to try, will be loading the cellar with a case. — 9 years ago
Comments on here about being 'classic' and green-pepper led. It certainly isn't classic, is very far removed from being herbaceous. It's an elegant and gentle SB, very pale lemon green. Looking for classic Marlborough notes. Mineral, clean, fresh, citrus, lemon, lime, hint of Passionfruit. White flower, elderflower. Very light in style, elegant, very light green notes (like Salad leaf and green pea) lemony, Limey, gentle and very drinkable. From a blend of sites, mainly clay soils. — 10 years ago
Very smooth initial flavor. Light bodied plummy that fills the nose with red berries after swallowing. More intense after it breathes. — 12 years ago
Nano hazelnut chocolate on coffee rye, blackened sponge cake, well done steak, black sesame, lavender and baked blackberry. Well knit.
Graphite glimmers on dark chocolate and cedar-oak slivers, smoky tobacco leaf, and tea. Immersive.

Juicy-fruited, this is unabashedly lime- and peach-forward, with floral and mineral accents playing a secondary role. Acidity is refreshing but not life-ruining. Mouthfeel is pleasantly rounded, belying its moderate abv (11.5%) and crisp, dry finish. Not complex, but pure pleasure, balanced and composed; you’d have to be some kind of dipshit not to love this wine. — 4 years ago
Lemon lime with longish finish and great example of West Australian Riesling - clean expressive flavours — 7 years ago
Lively minerality, notes of green apple, ripe peach, lime tree, crushed rocks and a touch of white pepper — 8 years ago
Right on the money with this Riesling! Straw in color and star bright. Nose was filled with lemon-lime, honeydew, Granny Smith apples, wild honey, citrus blossom, ginger, and new plastic pool toy aromas. The palate was extremely well balanced and the acidity was high and puckering. The tart lemon and lime flavors held through the finish. The finish was surprisingly long, and it was a nice medium-minus body. This Riesling provides a solid compliment to spicy sushi and spicy foods. It holds up strong and has a lot of backbone. All in all, this is your Riesling if you are looking for a refreshing, acidic, dry breath of fresh air. Instant favorite of mine! Washington dry Rieslings are spectacular. Cheers! — 9 years ago
Citrus particularly melon and peach. Crisp finish with lime overtones. For those who want to move a bit beyond typical dry and crisp whites, try this wine. — 10 years ago
Great summer wine! On the rocks with a little lime! Amazing! — 12 years ago
not sure when or where this was purchased but I opened it tonight. Golden yellow, a hint of oxidation quickly disappeared. Very honeyed bouquet, very quiet fruit and acidity, the wine really stretches out after a few sips, apricot and stone fruit, a little lime, some minerals, a lanolin feel, finishes clean and long. Not at the 01 375eme level, not as intense, but a classy quaff. — 3 years ago
Clear, effervescent. Lime, wet stone, hints of cherry. Decent acidity. — 5 years ago
Lime and minerals on the nose. Tart strawberries and slightly effervescent on the palate. Can't really do better on an 80 degree evening, sitting on the lawn of the Wisconsin State Capitol ❤️ — 6 years ago
12% abv. Lemon lime. Dry! Mineral. Acid! Great finish. Great price. Love it — 7 years ago
08 vintage - decanted for 2 hours & it is just a great blend of fruit, wet rock, with a smooth mouthfeel. A slight tobacco & pepper finish. It's velvet & pairs exceptionally well with creamy stinky cheese. — 8 years ago
First, a person has to pause and realize how lucky they are to drink this wine from 3L. Thanks Clyde for opening. This is in a perfect stage. Such evolution, length, balance, structure. Love the lower 80's alcohol levels. It's rich, lush and near perfect. Dark cassis; ripe and resolved blackberries, dark cherries, black plum w/skin, mixed berry liqueur, tobacco leaf, leather so soft you would wish it as a pillow cover, dry pebbles, dark rich earth, perfect acidity and a rich, elegant, ripe dark fruit finish. In 3L, this wine still has 10-15 years. — 9 years ago

At 12 years of age this shows the ability of Australian Riesling to age - vibrant acidity and our flavors. Medium lemon color with pronounced aroma of lime, lemon oil, candied lemon peel, petrol, honeysuckle, wet stone, flint, toast and beeswax. Piercing acidity and a long finish. Bone dry. — 3 years ago
