Inspired by previous discoveries of Russian wines, I've moved further and find something very unusual - blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay & Gewürtztraminer. It's NOT maturated in oak as one can guess seeing word "reserve" (pity, of course). What's inside? Sophisticated, elegant, fresh & crisp worthwhile white, pale lemon yellow coloured. Delicate nose of white plum, kumquat, chrysanthemum and touch of minerality. On well-balanced and live palate I've noted initial flash of mango and peach, followed by lime, white currant, white raspberry & lychee flavors. Lovely lingering citrus acidity on finish with minerals back. Paired finely with baked Karelian river trout and light homemade salad. — 8 years ago
