Shimmering magenta. Expressive red/blue fruit and licorice aromas show excellent clarity and pick up mineral and exotic spice flourishes as the wine opens up. Broad and fleshy on entry, offers concentrated boysenberry, bitter cherry and floral pastille flavors that tighten up and become sweeter with air. The blue floral note carries strongly through an impressively long, focused finish that's shaped by smooth, harmonious tannins. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, October 2019) — 6 years ago
Superb crisp, grapefruit,, peach, mineralogy — 7 years ago
Yeasty, brioche, clean, rich, red fruits. Awesome! — 7 years ago
Licorice, root beer, carrot and flowers on the nose. Super dry floral finish. Very interesting! #bourgueil #france #wine — 8 years ago
A blend of riesling, gewurz and sylvaner. The wine offered intense floral aromas when out-of-the-fridge cold, then gained complexity in the glass with ripe fruit, fennel and star anise notes. Hints of minerality also, but not the 'petrole' type. Haute couture. In magnum. — 9 years ago

Strawberry and green peppercorn, quaffable and fun Beaujolais Cru — 7 years ago
Deep red cherry with earthy finish. Classic Loire/cab franc. Excellent on opening. — 8 years ago
Tons of fruit notes...fall fruits, stone fruits and clementines rolled into a rich wine that keeps its balance due to mineral and acidity on the edges. This one is special — 9 years ago
Lovely honey notes. If you've found this bottle, splurge and pair with lobster or shellfish. — 10 years ago
Tonight opening one of my favorite and best Gigondas wine - a beautiful expression on freshness, finesse and elegance of old Grenache on sandy soil - a very limited production at around 3000 bottles #winelover 😘🙏🏻 what a treat ! — 10 years ago
Very smooth finish. A real drinkable wine — 10 years ago

Orange, elderflower, green apple, saline, minerality. Extremely chuggable young summer wine. — 5 years ago
Moussé is known for its Pinot Meunier yet this is 100% Chardonnay from a vineyard that was not well suited for Meunier due to the particularly deep soil. I found this to be a delight with lemon-lime citrus of tremendous precision. Minerals like it was San Pellegrino and a long finish. More chiseled than rich. So refreshing. Needs time to open. It is too stiff and oaky in the beginning but softens with time. Another bottle of wine that would complement food like veal chop or something — 7 years ago
Dégorgé: Oct/15, Dosage: 4g/l, It took about an a half to show itself, when opened the intensity/character & layers really came alive, beautifully complex & powerful, great to see. — 8 years ago
We loved this. Great flavors, not too dry or oakey or anything. Great blend and goes wonderfully with pasta. My husband absolutely loved it. We normally like more strong and forward wines and this was was just a good medium wine. Seems like it would go with anything. — 9 years ago
Never had red fruit like this, very cool stuff. — 10 years ago
Thanks to @Michael Scaffidi for the bottle. Enjoying it with @Harmony Knutson and Josh Nanberg. — 10 years ago

From the always lovely lieu-dit Meix Chavaux. There is a ripe opulence that is seamlessly balanced by signature Roulot kinetic energy and drive. Ripe orchard fruit, lemon verbena, flinty minerals, saline and matchstick reduction that blows off with a sufficient decant. There is great cut and delineation even in the ripe vintage. But we should expect nothing less from the great Jean Marc Roulot. Finishes long and intense strutting its mineral backbone and impressive focus. — 4 years ago
