Doyard

Cuvée La Libertine Doux Champagne Blend

Maybe not for the purists but this is stunning and I love it . It’s had 15+ years ageing and has old yeasty nose which is stunning. Not as sweet as you would think especially when paired with desert - almost dry feeling and certainly evident quality of the wine. Not much left on the open market so snap it up and try it while you can. — 7 years ago

Pepe Le Pluot American Wild Ale

Briny ocean and iodine with aggressive tart Pluot flavor. Like a cross between uni and a funky sour plum. Outstanding! — 10 years ago

Libertine No.2 Proprietary Sonoma County Red Blend 2016

Tuscan style red blend. Winemaker Noah’s take on a super Tuscan (Tuscan varietals blended w Bordeaux varietals). This is a blend of Sangiovese, cab franc, cab sauv and touch of merlot. Like a great red table wine from Tuscany. Perfect for a dinner party - great gifting wine and a crowd pleaser. Nice well rounded wine. Pairs well with food. Yes yes yes — 7 years ago

Libertine Swizzle Stick

From the nose (definitely rhum barrels) and the name, expecting some sweetness. But pucker up, this is sour as they come. Got past expectations and really enjoyed the flavor with big salty mouthwash finish. — 8 years ago

Beso Negro Wines

El Libertino Petit Verdot - Petite Sirah Blend 2014

These wines are from the Colchagua Valley in Chile, made by a Kiwi who cooked up an operation somehow involved with a Malaysian princess. I couldn't confirm, but these were made in a cement egg, with no oak. I had more of the El Libertine which was very floral with dark berries. Easy drinking full bodied wine. Very small production, so couldn't get my hands in a full bottle.
I googled "beso negro" and it has an interesting slang in Spanish. You were warned!
