Elegant oaky scent, light body, semi-structured, silky tanning. 2013 vintage. — 10 years ago
Quite a bit of cocoa spice box leather etc. but fruit starting to take a backseat. — 10 years ago
Opened 2009 Lewis Barcaglia alongside 2013. Nice to experience what a few years can do to a good chard. 2013 Lewis Napa Reserve excellent too. The Kistler Noisetiers was nice contrast being the more Burgundian of the group:) — 11 years ago

Wishing it would go on sale more often. I really like the berry taste. I still don't know why every wine I list is SOLD OUT. Oh well! — 10 years ago

Unmistakable Walla Walla nose. Deep leather, dark blue earthy cellared berry aroma. Dark fruits, the slightest hint of vanilla, extremely well balanced. High tannin but medium acid makes it so smooth.....with the longest finish, still building for a complete minute before it slowly lingers away. — 10 years ago

Vinnie and I feel like Lewis could arguably be the best winemaker out there period. So so so good. Hadn't ever had the Hillstone - we had been saving this one - wowzers — 11 years ago

This is an unusual blend - Cab, Merlot and Syrah - and it comes off a bit heavy handed (I tasted it blind and guessed that it was from Paso Robles). — 6 years ago
