What a wonderful Rośe from Domaine Tavel the de Bois. I know I drank the wine colder than it should be consumed, but what a guilty pleasure, the nose had a hint of raspberry soda, and the palate was like an explosion of a dry adult raspberry soda, and withe the French bread & tomatoes with basil, I could not have asked for anything better!!! — 6 years ago

The rosés of the Rhone River region often present as delicate little flowers. Soft aromas waft from the glass but don't discount their complexity. They may tease you with their perfume then they pull you in with their many surprises of earth, white truffles and crispness. We delighted in their many faces as we tried one after the other whilst floating on the River Rhone. No two were alike. And this one stood up to them all. We enjoyed this bottle in April of 2013 in the South of France. — 9 years ago

Rosé is often overlooked and considered as a sugary byproduct of red winemaking. Not in Tavel, an appellation that produces nothing but rosé. Salmon colour. Stony, mineral notes with hints of almonds. Dry, full bodied, with nice acidity. Drink slightly chilled. — 8 years ago
