Rosé is often overlooked and considered as a sugary byproduct of red winemaking. Not in Tavel, an appellation that produces nothing but rosé. Salmon colour. Stony, mineral notes with hints of almonds. Dry, full bodied, with nice acidity. Drink slightly chilled. — 7 years ago

What a wonderful Rośe from Domaine Tavel the de Bois. I know I drank the wine colder than it should be consumed, but what a guilty pleasure, the nose had a hint of raspberry soda, and the palate was like an explosion of a dry adult raspberry soda, and withe the French bread & tomatoes with basil, I could not have asked for anything better!!! — 5 years ago
