Rubis clair
Très belle surprises — 8 years ago
90 pinot noir, 10 gamay from 50 year old vines in Rully. lithe and feral, redolent of porcini mushroom and cured meat, a faint red currant note joins in on palate. intensely extracted, fine tannins are suppressing its full potential right now, but i'd love to taste again in a few years. new oak is maybe a bit too apparent on the finish though. reminds me of a good haute cotes de nuits. #chalonnaise #passetoutgrain #burgundy — 10 years ago

This is not the Chardonnay, but the Pinot Noir. It is a very enjoyable Bourgogne, although it lacks a bit of manure smell. — 6 years ago

— 10 years ago

One of my favorite Pinot noirs! Light yet bold tasting. It has a taste of bing Cherries. Went perfect with bison steak tips and mushrooms! — 5 years ago
