Saint-Chinian AOC is located in the heart of Languedoc. Roquebrun is one of the two under-appellation communes. The Cave cooperative accounts for almost 90% of the village production. In my experience Languedoc typically resembles Southern Rhône, but this also leans towards Provençal in style. Lavender ganache, fresh cracked pepper, anise, worn leather, rose petal, and high toned blackberry and black cherry. — 8 years ago

A very good Jura Chardonnay, but not my favorite. A bit too much of a tang in the finish for my preference. — 9 years ago
Rich strawberry, cherry. Straw. Mineral bite. That acid that can stand up to the holiday. Thankful. — 9 years ago
One we brought back from France. Had a great time drinking this in the owners personal cellar while he spoke French and we pretended like we knew what he was saying — 10 years ago
Yes we do we so we do love this one too — 11 years ago
$35. Great. Sharp, citrusy, not too sweet. — 12 years ago
Really good! An interesting blend of Rhône valley and northern Italy. Blend of bright cherry and some darker red fruits. Lots of herbs as well. I’m confused, but happy. — 8 years ago

A good Émilion, however took a while to open up. Had better but also had worse. Menu said would be a 2012 but was presented with a 2014! — 8 years ago
Délicieux, rien à rajouter! — 8 years ago
This was smokin' good! — 8 years ago
A case of grabbing the wrong vintage from the cellar... Very tightly wound, with red fruit and spice nose and palate ending with a mildly austere finish. All the elements are there but hold for a few more years. (Drank on 5/29) — 9 years ago
Delicious! — 9 years ago

Last bottle ever. Nutty, grassy, huge acid and wonderful purity. I love these wines. — 11 years ago
