Initial chicken coop smell..opens to slight floral notes. Ate with triple creme Saint Andre cheese. Very Bordeaux-esque. Complex with distinct alcohol at end like brandy. — 13 years ago

Had a good evening with this one :-) — 10 years ago
One of the best Bordeaux I've had (so far). It's dry so not for the light of heart, and has an acidic finish when you drink on its own. Great with red meat and light desserts. — 10 years ago
Very sweet taste of a quite dry vine:)) Crazy — 11 years ago

It's been about 10 years since I last tasted this, this is the 12/06 disgorgement and while the bead is barely detectable, the sap has remained, so what you have is a very vinous, juicy champagne that needs more time for the sweetness to taper off. The nose is pronounced intoxicating white truffles, sherry and agrumes, with some anise that I get from Beaufort. For now i say hold. — 9 years ago
