Simply put-WOW. A mixture of (as the name suggests) 5 cepages: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot. A stunning combination-not tannic but mineral, with perfect dark fruit nose and a lingering taste of spice. Packs a punch. www.creativeblock.co.za — 12 years ago
My first red Limoux drank for stage 14 of #TourdeFrance. Interesting blend of three "Oceanique" cepages merlot, cab, cab franc and 3 "Mediterranéen" grenache, syrah, malbec. Very fruit forward and smooth with some strong Bordeaux aromas. Not surprising it reminds me of L'Aventure. A little more rustic but nice. — 10 years ago

Tasted this at the winery and had to buy a bottle. They told me it's the same as the Cinq Cepages. — 9 years ago
