Perfect for a hot day in NOLA... nice balance of fruit and acid, don't serve too cold. — 9 years ago
Drinking well. 2001 vintage. — 10 years ago

Weird and very personal but positively restraint aromas and flavors of verbena, grapefruit, soft spices and candied peaches. Naked finish where its natural elevage becomes obvious. Feels older than it is (2011 vintage), but I'm still intrigued to revisit this one in another few years. — 11 years ago
Lenz 2009 Gewürztraminer is a terrific wine. Lychee on the nose, spicy palate, finishes dead dry. Great American Gewurz, bravo to the Lenz team on the North Fork for producing an Alsatian quality, food friendly wine. — 11 years ago

Biodynaaminen, ei ihan perinteinen gruner, hapokas, raikas, sitruksinen, maussa hippu karkkia. Kalat. 17,14 e ov — 12 years ago
Pepper, dusty, subtle hint of barnyard, raspberry, sour cherry, older wood, grilled foods. pretentious wine, my favorite — 13 years ago
— 9 years ago
This took the win when tasted blind against the 2013 Gold Label. — 10 years ago
Subtle use of oak & some decent fruit have pushed this along nicely — 11 years ago
Big nose filled with buttery oak and hints of vanilla. Oaky, but extremely bright on the palate. Vibrant acidity leads to a rich creamy body with flavors of peach, white flowers and stony minerality. The finish is crisp and bright but short. — 11 years ago
Great weight. Surprising. — 11 years ago

Blind this out as Right Bank all day. Exquisite. — 13 years ago
This is solid. Better than a lot of domestic wines. — 9 years ago
Everlasting pin point acidity with lemon zest, green pear, papaya and funky honeydew melon. Classic white pepper and snap peas on the nose. Citrus oil and flint pressing on the palate. Digging the arugula bouncing off the body. Refreshing and lively. Cheers! — 9 years ago
Awesome grauburgunder. — 10 years ago
@Delectable Wine this is the 2013 Fred Loimer Lenz Riesling. Crisp, citrus & mineral. Lighter bodied & refreshing. — 10 years ago

Tart kiwi nose, riper on palate, lime, sour apple, very green fruit, biting, subtle white tea comes in later and softens to flaky pastry. — 11 years ago

Teeny bubbles! Nutty, not yeasty. This may be redundant but drink it quickly once it hits your glass! Your bubbles escape quickly. — 12 years ago

Smells kind of sweet and floral, not super fragrant, but smooth. Tingly and zesty at first, kind of less exciting at the end, as in not very complex. Some tannins. Easy to drink, very refreshing to drink chilled. — 9 years ago
