I have a soft spot for the french...what can i say...je ne sais pas — 9 years ago
Beautiful ruby color. Not showing any brick quite yet. (2011 vintage consumed in June,2016)
Delightful nose that made me blurt out, "Ohh! Sweet sharp cherry funk!" That's a good sign.
It really has a muscular power on the nose that I'm really enjoying. The brooding dark fruit is laced with sandalwood and spice. With a little breathing time it takes on a slightly musky, cologne note sprinkled with earthy moist humus.
There's a little disconnect when you drink it though. It's not as bold as you might expect from the smell. Not to say that's a disappointment. Indeed, it makes it very approachable and dangerously easy to imbibe.
Texture is fine grit, body is balanced, and as my drinking buddy this evening said, it has that certain "je ne sais quoi."
I think this is really in its happy place right now. I can't imagine any more cellar time would improve the drinking experience. It might hold up a little longer but it's at maximum enjoyment potential in my opinion. Go ahead and pop this baby if you have any. — 9 years ago

Clean, authentic, fresh and vibrant Chardonnay of Limarí Valley, 50% aged in used oak for 9 months.
Intense lemon color, straw glitters.
Charming bouquet of melon, biscuits, soaked apple, pineapple, peach, grass. Nutty nuances and white flowers. Minty whiff.
Palate is crisp, concentrated and textured. Medium+ body, distinctive minerality and pronounced acidity. Pomelo, white currant, rhubarb, green apple, pineapple flavors.
Tangy long lasting finish of green apple & lime, touched by sea minerals.
Perfectly suited seabass baked with herbs and olives. — 9 years ago
Si tu ne sais pas ce qu'est un vin minéral, achète ça. Tu peux aussi sucer un caillou, on n'est pas loin. J'adore. — 9 years ago
Coupatge complexe que dona un negre cirera fruitat i amb aromes torrats , molt agradable al paladar i cos vellutat. Final amb pebre fresc i fruita compotada . Molt bó , Marta. — 10 years ago
Rosat carmí de bombolla finíssima i elegant , fruita vermella fresca i un punt amargant , gens àcid i final de palla humida. Molt bó. Escumós fet amb garnatxa negra amb gran cura i degorjat a mà per la Marta de Can Sais. — 10 years ago

L'hem decantat i reposat força. Excel.lent. Gracies, Joan. — 11 years ago
Light, fruity white. Not tart. — 12 years ago
Lots of mushroom and a bit of funk on the nose. Love it. Fine tannins and such a perfect mouthfeel and velvety finish. Much more aligned with my Pinot characteristic preference. — 8 years ago
Nice balance, good body. 2014 vintage — 9 years ago
This wine kicks ass and then some. I bought a case. You should too. Unless you have poor tastes... Drink it now. It's all about super fresh bramble fruits, flowers, and that Italian "Je ne sais quoi." It's imminently drinkable. Soft tannins, mineral, good acid, and freshness with a little spritz. Pour it btg, have fun with it. — 9 years ago

We need to talk about this wine. Not only is it a fresh faced one, it's a sly one, too - drinking about 1.5 - 2x its price. As if that weren't enough, it has that ephemeral, je ne sais qoui / fairy-dust quality you find in great Burgundy. Need I say more?? #getsome #powertotheneely — 12 years ago
At Marea...just an amazing wine like all his 2010s...explosive aromatics like a mortar to the nose....red fruits, velvet and that je ne sais quoi that i still can't pinpoint... Palette lacked some of the weight of a 1er or grand but Ooooooo what a village — 12 years ago
