Namaste kitchen in Shelburne VT Sept 2024. Worked fine with curries and spice. Generally easy to drink. Would drink on its own — 9 months ago

Always like badly turned. A lot of apples, pears and some other elements on the nose. Somewhat the same on taste with a nice finish. — 9 months ago
Wonderful aromatics and texture as usual for Fourrier. The 2018 vintage is a bit more closed than I expected. Pomegranate, cherries, hint of musk, white pepper on the nose. Great structure, salinity, energy and balance on the palate. Long finish. Grand cru quality stuff from Fourrier - punching above it’s weight. — 2 years ago
A charming left bank blend with a high percentage of CF for 15’. Blueberry, cassis, espresso, dried herbs, and lavender. Hint of crushed rocks too. Medium to full body. A harmonious palate with round gentle acidity, lush texture, and grainy yet polished firm elegant tannins. Lingering lightly candied finish.
Finesse and classy, yet so approachable. — 4 years ago
12.5%. Very very good. Hint of brett - tart and closed. But boy is this complex. Earthy, Kashmir red pepper, perhaps even a hint of tomatoes 🍅. Orange bitters on the back palate. Like silk much better than many Burgs I had in the last six months. From Max Kogod and I will buy the last bottle and the other cuvée from this producer best Trousseau I had in a long time! — 6 years ago
Sweet, smooth ripe fruits, would prefer to a cab. — 8 years ago
My favorite 'champagne', this is what I drink for New Years Eve. Delicious without accompanying food, this bottle was meant to be dessert all on it's own. — 9 years ago

Perfect drinking of 2016 vintage in early 2025. Lots of red fruit and good body. $17. — 5 months ago
Nose presents baking spices and a touch of soft brown sugar. Palate is dense and layered, as usual for this producer (before the winery changed hands the first time around). Notes of coffee, tobacco and maple syrup come through on the mid palate. Nice tannin/acidity combination complete what is a classic BV presentation. Drink these within the 24 months. This winery has been on the slide ever since Ed Snyder and team departed. I tasted some of the 18’s and 19’s and they were a mere shadow of the previous product.

Fresh and elegant, fruit forward with low tannins. Good acidity balances out the 15% alcohol. Tasted even better day 2 — 5 years ago
Young, but drinking so well with beautiful, pure, dark red cherry fruit. Nice tartness with that Morey earth in the background. No one in Burgundy captures such pure and delicious fruit flavors like Fourrier does. Can't wait to try the next bottle 5 years down the road. — 8 years ago
Pairing it up with some Moroccan lamb with tomato and eggplant. Spicy, black fruits on the palate with some olive and bitter herbal accents. Should be a nice foil for the tagine. — 9 years ago
