A nice sweet take on a French favourite - uncorking at the end of a long week to toast a sweet finish! Good way to start any evening. — 4 years ago
Just perfect: blueberries and herbs in complex layers. Reminds me why I love languedoc! (Happy 24th!) — 6 years ago
Juicy, yummy, Chenin, baby. — 7 years ago
Smells like pineapple mixed with peach. Which makes the tart dryness a wonderful surprise. — 7 years ago
Brilliant. The description says barely sweet, but I would say balanced instead. Has a nice sweet touch to it with strawberry and vanilla. — 8 years ago
Glorious Chenin Blanc from 94 — 9 years ago
Sweet but not sugary, a teensy dry. Very nice. — 10 years ago
With bottles I wanted to taste the most left behind, I was ready for Exquise, from which I had no expectations as I heard controversial thoughts on this wine. Ripe white wild cherries, cookies, candied fruits (or was it pastilla?) and yellow plums. And a bit of nuts. Fresh, round, and well-balanced. The aftertaste is long and persistent. A bit of wet cellar and Jerez in the finish. The higher sugar level is obvious, but it doesn't disturb me. Very approachable and easy to understand. It's just a well-made one-dimensional wine you hardly remember the next day.

Delicious Chenin vouvray, the perfect amount of sweet! — 8 years ago
Nice fruity almost sweet taste. One of the best champagnes I've had. My 2 other favorites are twice the price. — 9 years ago
Subtly perfumey and very easy to cash — 10 years ago
Mineral. Acid. Little sweet. Love it! — 11 years ago
Red cherry. More brick-like with old world vibes. More tart on the nose. Forest floor characteristics. — 2 years ago
Black cherry finish, shrub-like qualities — 4 years ago
Three shades of Pinot. Texture and creamy heft, green apple, but cutting and determined. Some lil Debbie xmas tree cake but no sweetness. Honeydew and lilac — 6 years ago
Very nice tart apple, pear, and quince flavors. Nice acidity. I’d call it demi-sec, the wife says semi-sweet. Enjoyable summer wine. — 7 years ago
29 March 2017. Rouge Tomate, New York, NY. — 7 years ago
1st off surprised at the complex nose. Petrol, subtle oak and aged.cheddar cheese. Some subtle herbs as well. Mouth feel is rather viscous. A touch of apples being sautéed in butter with a hint of dill. Sounds strange but it works. Has potential to hang on for a couple more years. — 8 years ago

Love the demi-sec style—paired beautifully with a fresh produce-forward dinner. Lots of peach and apricot, honey, pronounced lime pith, fresh flowers and grass, and plentiful acid, stone and a sort of savory bitterness that balances the RS — 8 months ago
