Le Lune Del Vesuvio

Mastroberardino

Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio Rosso Piedirosso

Really nice bang for the buck. First time trying a Piedirosso grape, and it was very pleasant, easy drinking. Could pair with both low and high falutin cuisines. — 5 years ago

Feudi di San Gregorio

Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio Greco Blend 2016

White wine, blend of Coda di Volpe and Falanghina grapes.

Clear, medium yellow colour.

On the nose citrus peel of medium intensity, especially lemon and orange. Strong minerality of volcanic rocks, expression of the soil where the grapes are grown.

Dry with high acidity on the palate and medium body. Nice pear flavour.

Medium-long finish.

Quinta Do Vesuvio 2008

One of those reds that manage to taste both big and light at the same time. J-M thinks of not too leathery Riojas and not too tannic Barbarescos — 9 years ago

Lacrima Christi del Vesuvio

2012, white. This is a fabulous white, FULL of character! So rich on the palate with Bavarian cream and toasted almond on the nose, creamy peach skin and a nice rounded acidity on the finish. Golden in colour - I could drink this all day every day. Blend of falanghina and caprettone. — 11 years ago

Domaine Le Conte des Floris

Lune Blanche Carignane 2010

Had 2009 vintage in Tokyo, was very unique and loved it. Powerful but soft. Ordered 2010 from vineyard as no more 2009. Still very good but not quite the same. — 11 years ago

Territorio de Matroni
