Very sour, so give it a couple of tastes, and reap the rewards of the subtle apricot. Probably best not to look up what the name means till later. — 8 years ago
Silky smooth @erictexier - everybody in Durham at the party loves this delicious red. — 7 years ago
Ripe and lush with cherry and plum flavours, very juicy, medium bodied — 7 years ago
Surprisingly I found in "Fou du Roi" 2014 the elegance, delicacy and freshness of a North France wine, with more precision and a less funky character than usual. Really good ! — 8 years ago
Super fruity bit with ripe violet on the nose. There is more than just juice from the carbonic maceration, the carignan gives it character and prevents it from being glou glou. Really great vdf — 8 years ago
This comes from a site planted en fou, biodynamicaly cultivated and made sans soufre. Yes indeed- it has hit all of the current trends and might predict a future one... and it is still good. I love it when a good bottle challenges my prejudices! A little bit of smoke and a whole lot of stone fruit make this quite tasty. — 7 years ago
A fresh and fruity CdR, light at 12% and just the ticket for pulled pork and gyros #happyfourth — 8 years ago
At 10% alcohol--with I'm guessing 60+ g residuals--the last 9 years leave an impression that is both sweetly-floral and quenching. Not sweet enough to be sticky on the palette, this is akin to peach honeysuckle sherbet. If you're lucky to have one of these tucked away, enjoy it on a bluebird mountain day. — 8 years ago
Light touch of oak, Chenin, Chardonnay delicious when the sun is out! — 9 years ago

Seductive wine of the night. Walked the dark alley to wake us from our slumber. Delightful full of earth and light. — 6 years ago
