A little dry but what the most important is I love the fragrance!!! Fruity and floral fragrance blended make me sink into it! — 9 years ago
It's hard to know what perfection in cab Franc taste like… But this is a bold expression of carefully grown, micro-lot produced CF. in Virginia, there is a lot of latitude and this one is volume and equalizer on 10s! What is amazing about this is how it opened up and improved with air… Like a big block before and after nitrous! — 9 years ago
With carne asada. We just tried local reds. I'm sorry but this one kicked them out. That 32° latitude heat makes a difference. Gracias México por este vino — 9 years ago
This guy is from the Vally de la Marne where Pinot Meunier is the primary grape. This region is west of the Montage de Reims region at about the same latitude.
85% Meunier
15% Noir
Four years sur lees.
Spiced tangerine and anise. Sweet butter and hazelnut. A touch of sourdough.
Just opened this, and it's drinking well. :)

This is 2010 VQA from Pelee Island in Kingsville, Ontario - which is the farthest south town in Canada & having latitude relevance with Northern California. This is a GREAT wine with Asian or Spicy Chicken - "Aux" is a find that always surprises! — 13 years ago
Yeasty/ Bread component. Very different than the Latitude which is much cleaner. Nice. — 8 years ago
Right bank Sans cab sauv. Very competent for an estate bottled wine from this latitude in the mid Atlantic. Reflects meticulous management in all stages of wine making. And a good blending palate. More of the non fruit elements forward. Leather and tobacco with an undercarriage of plum and prune. Drank it with grilled flank steak and overall delightful. Can't wait to pit this against a R. Bank and Napa Merlot just to see how she holds up. — 9 years ago
Whoa! This was very good. Smooth full round fruit. Very good. Latitude wine again. — 9 years ago

Cheaper, kind of sweet, but not too bad. Would definitely buy again. A bit of spice, but not too noticeable. Enjoyed it. — 10 years ago

Surprisingly delishmouse. I'm not usually a merlot drinker. — 12 years ago
Nice and light. Great taste. I like that's its on the lower end of alcohol at 11.8%. Great for summer BBQs — 12 years ago
Too sweet but if you mix it with Champagne it's a lot better. — 8 years ago
2016 from Latitude Wines, Leeds.
Lovely soft round Malbec. Drink this all night. Goes really well with rump steak and rhubarb crumble but just sit quaff and chat - still great. — 8 years ago
Apricot skin, dried apricot, 10% of peach flavored with slate minerality and northern latitude crispness, all while being yellow fruity and exuding an ever so very slight effervescence. — 9 years ago
Slightly sweet and fruity, relatively light bodied, with low acidity. — 9 years ago
A nice Syrah, especially considering the latitude where it was grown. — 10 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Vineyards are located in Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina, in area at 33º South latitude, with a continental climate. Deep dark Ruby with fresh fruit and citrus notes, aged in French oak. On the palate strawberry and berry fruit flavors, sweet vanilla spice, cacao and oak. Soft fine tannins on lingering finish ending with mineral and earthy tones. Nice value. — 8 years ago
