2002 vintage. Amazing it lasted this long. Ode to the screw cap. After a good slumber in a decanter it opened up amazingly. Quite rich in the body and has maintained that pepper and plum. This bottle was cellared well since being purchased and showed that. — 9 years ago
Cherry on the nose, black current on the front palate, oak on the back palate. — 9 years ago
What a wacky and amazing blend. Presenting amazingly for a 2012 and provided useful for a side by side Riedel glass tasting. A really fantastic blend of Touriga Nacional, Tempranillo, Monastrell, Syrah, Malbec, Cinsaut and Garnacha. — 9 years ago

Juicy. Plump and juicy. Delicious fruit nose and palate. Some spicy vanilla and pepper to round things out. Yummy. — 9 years ago

Texture. That's what makes this wine so damn enjoyable. It's loaded with dark chewy fruit and a hint of dusty chocolate. Round and smooth and voluptuous. The nose isn't amazing and it's not an intellectual wine, but bloody hell it's nice and keeps calling for another sip. It even carries the high alcohol pretty well (but maybe avoid it on a hot day). And it's $12! Crazy. Except that it's hard to get hold of. — 9 years ago
Opulent. Dark fruit and chocolate. Vanillins indicative of American Oak. Savory herb. Well made despite my personal dislike of AO. — 9 years ago
One of my most favorite wines! 2004, been in the cellar since that year, brilliant with great beef. Almost no sediment. Amazing drinking. — 9 years ago
